Community Mealmakers

How can you be the change you want to see in the world? Use the strength God has given you and become part of the answer.

For several years, our monthly Kitchen Ministry has been preparing a meal for 150 neighbors in need. On the Sunday before the second Monday of each month, we gather in the church kitchen to cook for the residents of Father Bill’s MainSpring House in Brockton. The meal is delivered on Monday afternoon to be served that evening.

Although we still cook together at church, much of the preparation now happens in different ways and places. Vegetable choppers, cookie and cornbread bakers, grocery shoppers, and drivers all lend a hand from home, while our chili makers prepare the main dish in the church kitchen. Every role matters, and every helping hand makes a difference.

We are currently looking for:

  • Kitchen volunteers
  • Grocery shoppers
  • Drivers
  • Cornbread bakers
  • Cookie bakers
  • And more!

Would you like to be part of this meaningful ministry? We always welcome extra hands. Use the contact form below, speak with Bill or Sherri Dyer at church, or call the church office at 781-293-7997.

Together, we can share God’s love in a very tangible way.
