Our 2026 Worthy Women Project was a great success! Thanks to the generosity and support of our congregation, we were able to provide much needed items to help women and children affected by domestic violence. We look forward to continuing this important ministry and supporting the Worthy Women Project again in 2027.

Worthy Women Kits are for victims of domestic violence. When a woman leaves a safe house to start over, she is given a duffle bag containing necessary items.

Members of the congregation, boards, and committees are asked to purchase items listed below. If shopping is not convenient, please donate funds to enable the Missions Committee to purchase items. Please make checks payable to FCCH and indicate “Worthy Women” on the memo line.
- Double bed size sheets and 2 pillowcases (Flat sheets are preferred to accommodate varying mattress depths)
- Lightweight blanket (Approximately 50” x 60”)
- Set of towels (bath and hand size) with washcloth
- Bar of soap
- Brush and comb
- Deodorant
- Nail clipper, nail file, and/or emery boards
- Disposable razors
- Toothbrush and toothpaste
- Dental floss
- Hand lotion
- Lip balm
- Shampoo
- Conditioner
