Small Groups:
Small groups were a core part of Jesus’ ministry in the New Testament. He gathered disciples and leaders to meet for study, fellowship, prayer and evangelism. Today small groups follow the same model with an emphasis on bible study, fellowship, prayer and outreach. Small groups involve “doing life together.”
Youth Group:
Youth Group is a combination of kids from FCCHanson as well as FBCHanson. Youth Group is open to kids and teens in Grades 6-12. We meet on Sunday evenings at 6:30 pm in the Upper Room at FCC Hanson. When we get together, you never know what’s going to happen; meet new friends, go on adventures, play games, and enjoy fellowship!
Care Support:
Every one in our lives need a little reminder once in a while about how much we care for them or how proud we are of them; so why not send a card? Our church has so much to offer & share with others; let’s make this be one of the wonderful ministries people enjoy receiving!
Spiritual Gifts:
Spiritual Gifts are not our natural talents or abilities. Paul wrote in his 1st letter to the Corinthian church, “Now about the gifts of the Spirit, brothers and sisters, I do not want you to be ignorant.” (1 Cor. 12:1). Once you know what your Gift is or Gifts are, don’t be shy! Let your church family know. Spend some time with others exploring the ways your Gift(s) can enrich not only your life, but the lives of others, both in the congregation and out in the community.
